 I told Maya to do something funny, so this is what she gave me:

 

We have much more than just one picture today.

We took advantage of the beautiful weather today and had a picnic at Eden Park, followed by some play time. 

 

 

In line with the theme today, the boy in the yellow coat is also named Mitchell.  FUNNY that they have some similar characteristics.

I had a different plan for today's picture, but Mitchell presented me with this too good to pass up opportunity.  We went to Storytime at the library and Maya's sunglasses helped us make it through the whole session without having to leave early.

 As promised, this is the start of a new kind of daily photo.  I have seen all kinds of photo challenges floating around Pinterest and various blogs I stalk.  I thought I found one I liked and was going to follow along, but I couldn't get the link to work.  So I decided I would rather make my own anyway.  I admit that I used several of the ones I found for ideas, but the order is my own.  Here is my March 2013 Daily Photo Challenge:

The way it works is that every day I have to take a picture that goes along with the word for that date.  March 1 is "up," and this is my interpretation...

Up {on daddy}

 

Mitchell gets down on all fours every evening and starts rocking back and forth and says "Daddy, you do that to me?"  It's seriously one of the funniest and cutest things he does at the moment.
